My fan roster for a sequel to X-Men: Children of the Atom

MAJOR UPDATE: I revamped the entire screen to make a little more up-to-date.

Changed
- a few sprites
- changed Havok and Domino from the Brotherhood to the X-Men
- added Northstar & Aurora, Warlock, Magik and Mercury on the X-Men side
- added Bastion, Legion, Exodus, Destiny, Vertigo, Lady Mastermind, Gladiator and Wendigo on the Brotherhood side
- changed the typo
- added portraits and cursors
- added VS and a timer
- enlarged the screen to a wallpaper scale and spread its elements

For those who don't know, X-Men: Children of the Atom was a fighting game made by Capcom featuring the X-Men and it had such a success that it spawned games like Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter and, of course, the Marvel vs Capcom trilogy. I made this in my spare time, as someone tossed the idea for a sequel to Children of the Atom, using sprites I've found on the net.

As from possible Qs
I changed the layout for various reasons:
1- It was my very first select screen that I ever did, so it showed its age as I did more screens.
2- I wanted to update the looks of both the sprites and layout. The layout was based on Children of the Atom (static.comicvine.com/uploads/o… ). However, it worked because back then, it was a small roster.
3- I was missing some elements, like portraits, a timer and such.
4- Images are like rooms: sometimes you feel like giving it a fresh coat of paint.

I swapped Havok and Domino from the dark side to the good side: Let me tell right away that I'm not much of an X-Men fan, as in that I don't follow the series THAT much. I've watched a few episodes of the 90s cartoon, X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men, checked out a few games including the Capcom games, but that's it. I don't know much about the stories, so mistakes like these can happen. I thought Havok was a villain due to his appearance as a villain in Mutant Academy 2, in addition of the Evolution version where's he a villain as well, and I thought Domino was a villain because of her role in Wolverine and the X-Men series. After doing more research, I discovered that Havok and Domino became in fact X-Men. In the case of Domino, it was mostly because of the Deadpool game where she's with the X-Men.

I changed some of the sprites: Ok, no offense to any of the sprite artists that I removed sprites from, but when I did my first version, I picked sprites for their coolness instead of their similar art style. This time, I tried to homogenize the srpites and unfortunately, some sprites had to be changed. Furthermore, sometimes it was to update the looks. For instance, I changed Storm's, Phoenix's and X-23's sprites for some that match their UMvC3 appearances.

I paired Northstar and Aurora together: Simple enough, most of their fighting style resolve in team attacks, so that character would be a tag-team one.

I actually ran out of ideas for villains: Like I said, I'm not following the series that much, so I had to search deep to find key antagonists... and THEN find suitable sprites. If you guys have ideas on villains I should consider looking for, please let me know in the comments below.
Note: Yes, I know about Apocalyse... but that was intended as a last unplayable boss.

I actually had to cherry-pick X-Men characters: While for me, villains were hard to find, X-Men characters were plentiful. I didn't count, but there are like 100+ members of the X-Men, including the secondary groups. There was a LOT to choose from. Here are some characters I found sprites, but didn't add [yet]: Armor, Boom Boom, Cannonball, Cecilia Reyes, Hellion, Hepzibah, Husk, Moonstar, Namor, Pixie, Sunfire and Warpath. I apologize if your favorite X-Men isn't in there, but I did "limit" myself to 32 on each side.
